30.11.07 - VIPA qualified for "TOP 100 - The 100 most innovative medium-sized companies"

VIPA has qualified for the finale of the nationwide company award "TOP 100 - The 100 most innovative medium-sized companies". On July 4th, 2008, mentor Lothar Späth will publish the 100 top innovators.

The initiative will evaluate the innovation management of German medium-sized companies already for the 16th time and award the renowned "TOP 100" certification to the best 100 companies". The winner will futhermore be awarded the title"innovator of the year". The TOP 100" project is aimed at scientifically proving the companies innovative forces by an independent party. Therefore a team of Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien (economic university Vienna) is verifying in a two-stage procedure the performance of participants in the five most important fields  "innovation success", "innovation climate", "innovative processes and organization", "innovation-encouraging top management" and "innovation marketing".

Mentor of this project is Lothar Späth. Project partners are "Fraunhofer Gesellschaft zur Förderung der angewandten Forschung e.V." (Fraunhofer association for the promotion of applied sciences), "RKW - Rationalisierungs- und Innovationszentrum der Deutschen Wirtschaft e.V." (center of German industrial association for rationalisation and innovation), "Verband der Elektrotechnik Elektronik Informationstechnik (VDE)" (association of electrical engineering electronics information technology), as well as the "Verein Deutscher Ingenieure (VDI)" (association of German engineers). Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke of "Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien" (economic university Vienna) is in charge of academic guidance.
