18.09.07 - Configuration tool

The WinCoCT (Windows CANopen configuration tool) by Vipa is a software tool that allows the configuration of CANopen devices and networks.

The user interface offers manufactures and users the possibility to configure a CAN network without any special knowledge, according to the company. The tool features a project window in which each CAN node, based on its EDS file, is displayed with user-selectable bitmap, text entry with name of the node and the node-ID.

The object dictionary of each CANopen device is shown in the tree view, which displays all objects by index and name. The mapping and linking of PDOs can be done graphically or by list-oriented dialogs. The basis of the tool is the database-oriented management of all configuration and device data.
